Whether you are a history expert, a skilled craftsperson, or simply someone who wants to give back, there is a place for you at OMM. No prior museum or military history experience is required, only a willingness to help and a desire to serve.

Our Volunteer Corps is organized into three primary teams. Many volunteers choose to support more than one area, but the table below highlights where you can make the greatest impact.

| Collections | Work directly with historical materials by organizing and digitizing photographs, preparing artifacts for display or storage, and assisting with archival research. | You are detail-oriented, enjoy focused behind-the-scenes work, and take pride in making history accessible to others. |
| Restoration Shop | Help restore and maintain the Museum’s collection of historic military vehicles and artillery pieces using hands-on skills. | You have experience or interest in mechanics, fabrication, woodworking, or upholstery and enjoy seeing tangible results from your work. |
