FIRST Saturday of the Month
Each month, explore a different theme or era of service with hands-on supplies, uniforms, and technology replicas. Enjoy unique military vehicles brought out for display. All are welcome to bring, wear, or share theme-related items.
Every Saturday is Fun for All
On Saturdays, families and young visitors can enjoy crafts, puzzles, and more at the Activities Table set up in the lobby. Stop by the Museum Store for unique gifts and mementos. Visit our website for other special events, including TANK DAY!, June 22.
LAST Saturday of the Month
At 11:30am and 1:30pm, join us for a 45 minute guided tour through the Museum’s galleries, sharing Oregon’s history of service through military vehicles and artillery. Space is limited. Please RSVP groups of 4 or more at oregonmilitarymuseum.org/events.
JUNE 15: Today’s Military Tech & Transport
From vehicles to in-field state-of-the-art technology, find out what today’s military is using to get the job done!
JULY 20: Living History Day
History comes alive with the help of local heritage organizations’ dynamic displays and historical reenactments.
AUGUST 17: Kids Summer Fun Bash
In collaboration with the OR National Guard Child & Youth Program (CYP), join us in the Historic Park for lawn games, scavenger hunts, and more for kids of all ages to enjoy — including remote-controlled vehicles provided by HobbyTown Happy Valley! Inside the Museum, CYP and its community partners have more to share with all visitors, alongside its annual Back to School Bash for registered military kids only.
SEPTEMBER 21: Union Soldiers & The Civil War
Step back into the lived experiences of Union soldiers with the Sons of Civil War Union Veterans, 26th NY Colored Regiment, and NW Civil War Council.
