PAVE (Paws Assisting Veterans) staff and clients share how trained service dogs change the lives of disabled veterans. Learn what defines a service dog according to the ADA; the training and matching process; how to act around a service dog and their human; the difference between service dogs and support animals; and how businesses can legally screen dogs and handlers to assure public access. Drop in for one, many, or all sessions and visit their info canopy to meet a PAVE service dog team in person! Each session is roughly 15-20min with plenty of time for Q&A after.
